Shooting in London with a talented model! Such fun...

Those of you who know me well would know that I would take any excuse to sit in the sun, chatting with friends and enjoy one or two glasses of scrummy Pimms. Well combine this with my love of Photography and you have my recent shoot in Central London with a male model, Joe Roome. 

Although Joe's modelling career is just starting he was an absolute pro. Knowing his angels, working with different lighting and busseling people all around him.

Giving me more time to get sucked into the atmostphere of my surroundings, which in turn shows in the outcome of the shots.

March! That was a little hectic - even for PeaSpoon...

March has come and gone so quickly but we seemed to have fitted in so much! 

INTERNATIONAL CONFEX 2011

Well firstly we had International Confex. Hannah went with the well renowned company Crafty Arty Party to photograph the launch of their new sister company Prop Dead Gorgeous, an exquisite prop and theming company. CAP and PDG had 2 stands at Confex and even WON the Theming Factory award - they have only been going for 2 months so this is a massive achievement! A special well done goes to Heather Mitchell pictured below with her Medusa.

CENTAUR SERVICES

PeaSpoon was commissioned to capture the working vibe in Centaur Services, from their call centre to the lorry's. These images will be used on their website and their exhibition stands. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. 

SAFAVET DIRECT

PeaSpoon have created and maintain the online store and website for Safavet Direct. With their new catalogue being created PeaSpoon were asked to take some new product shots. 2 Days of lovely coffee and cakes later...

KINGSTON MAURWARD COLLEGE 

Kingston Maurward College held a charity fashion show at the end of March; all the proceeds went to the Special Care Baby Unit at Dorchester Hospital. Nearly all of the clothes or accessories were made by students including the horticultural students who created spectacular bikinis out of leaves to umbrellas out of flowers and twigs. A few backstage and onstage shots from a very successful night! Well done to the Administrative Course students who organised the evening.

PeaSpoon have recently been working along side Katy from Rustic Rose "The Flower Shop" in Sturminster Newton.

Kate opened Rustic Rose in November 2010, and has already featured in many publications and magazines, making quite a name for herself and causing a stir in her local town.

Hannah says 

"Working with Kate over the past 6 weeks has been nothing but joy! It has felt more like playing than work. Kate is an extraordinarily talented girl. Each time I visit the shop, I stay far longer than planned, just soaking up the creative flow from Kate's creations."

The website covers all aspects of Kate's business and has an ever growing blog so that Kate's fans can keep up with her fast paced world of flowers and arrangements.  Kate will also be featuring her top tips and lightbulb moments on the blog, so don't miss out!

The next step for the site is the on-line shop, which should be live and ready to go in 4 weeks.

Rustic Rose, Katy and Sally Page ...

We have been working with Rustic Rose in Sturminster Newton for a month now and have already had such a blast. What a fun day we had last Friday. Arriving to a full shop of the most beautiful flowers, baskets, books and cushions I struggled to know where to start! 

Katy opened Rustic Rose in December 2010, such an enthusiastic and energetic girl, constantly coming up with ideas on how to present flowers and plants in the most fantastic ways.

Introducing Katy ...

Katy offers so much more than wrapped flowers. Offering her skills to many occassions such as weddings, funerals, birthday celebrations and of course the annual event days such as Valentines. 

This Valentines, Katy is offering wrapped red roses from £55 all the way through to a beautiful heart covered in stunning flowers.

Now Katy and I were not the only ones playing last Friday, we were joined by the multi talented Sally Page! Sally has written many books, all of which are a fantastic read and a must for anyone who enjoys flowers or photography.

Sally's daughter has also written a book all about Pink at the young age of 16 - such a talented family!
